This course is intentionally-intensive! The aim is to train the versatile all-rounder. Challenging material from a wide variety of fields will be used to develop language skills in five fundamental areas: composition, reading comprehension, use of English, listening comprehension and interview, presentation and speaking skills.
Work between sessions is a basic course requirement. Students wishing to prepare for the First or Advanced Cambridge Certificate will have ample chance to do so here.

Please bring the reference book to the sessions: English Grammar in Use, with answers and ebook 5th Ed., Klett/Cambridge University Press, ISBN 978-3-12-535423-4. A learning app is also available, 4th Edition can also be used.
