In this course we will practice the basics of improvised theatre in English. We will look into techniques of acting, voice and breath, spontaneity, movement, intuition, status, imagination and story telling. Inspired by audience/participants suggestions or acting exercises, we will create shorter scenes and longer montages, using the above mentioned techniques and making it up on the spot.

In this course you will learn to speak more confidently and trust your instincts. Explore and develop your own unique way of telling stories and start to silence that inner critic that keeps you from being your most vibrant self!
Native English-speaker level not required.

Berlin theatre maker Paul Schmidt has lived, worked, and studied in English-speaking countries around the world. He has been performing and teaching improvised theatre for over ten years. He studied acting and theatre-paedagogy (National Institute of Dramatic Art (AUS), University of the Arts Berlin).
