The course aims to show the participants how to use different sources of light and how to reach the best results in different light scenarios.
Each lesson will be focused on one specific topic with a theory part in the beginning,
followed by a practical part with a particular task and a revision (editing and a postproduction using Adobe and/or Capture One software) at the end. In some lessons history of photography will also be involved to have a better understanding of the historical development of photography.

Der auf Englisch unterrichtete Kurs zielt darauf ab, den Teilnehmer:innen zu zeigen, wie man verschiedene Lichtquellen nutzt und wie man in verschiedenen Lichtszenarien die besten Ergebnisse erzielt.
Jede Lektion konzentriert sich auf ein bestimmtes Thema mit einem theoretischen Teil zu Beginn, gefolgt von einem praktischen Teil mit einer bestimmten Aufgabe und einer Revision (Bearbeitung und Nachbearbeitung mit Adobe und/oder Capture One Software) am Ende. In einigen Unterrichtsstunden wird auch die Geschichte der Fotografie behandelt, um ein besseres Verständnis für die historische Entwicklung der Fotografie zu bekommen.
