Our course will explore the vocabulary of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance in a relaxed and playful atmosphere. This modern oriental dancestyle is based on belly dance and combines elements of ballet, flamenco and hip hop.
Every session starts with strength exercises for the major muscle groups as warm-up. After this, the fundamentals of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance are explained and practiced. With these newly learned moves we practice dance improvisation. Each session ends with stretching and a short relaxation.
This course structure not only promotes physical and mental health, but it also stimulates your creativity. It is designed for beginners, advanced beginners, and intermediate students.
Anastasia Lymperopoulou (stage name Agape) has been teaching Fusion Belly Dance at the Volkshochschule Neukölln and various social organizations for three years, contributing to the empowerment of women.
