Combining my experience as an immigrant teaching English in Berlin since 1998 and my diverse arts education in the US, Mexico, and Berlin and all the wonderful cultural possibilities in Berlin, I offer you a course who like to explore exhibitions but ALSO like to be in the classroom doing some more focused language work.
This course is adapted to accommodate intermediate learners, and also those who enjoy a bit more rest in-between the out and about times. It is a course for adults who have complex thoughts even when they struggle to express them in a foreign language. We will use material from and related to the exhibitions currently on view in Berlin, especially those we have chosen to visit together, taking the time we need to understand and do needed language work to gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter of the exhibitions.
