Зміст

This summer course is aimed at students that seek to develop their conversational English and engage in current debates. Each week a particular topic will be covered, allowing students to hold various conversations around the subject as well as debate on a specific focus of the same.

By interacting with fellow classmates, students will gain greater confidence in expressing their opinions and discussing a variety of topics. The course will include topical vocabulary development and draw attention to specific language used for conversation and debating.

While the course mainly focusses on the enhancement of verbal expression, short writing activities and grammar exploration will be incorporated to facilitate the conversations thereafter.

Zur Kursleitung: Die muttersprachliche Kursleitung ist eine qualifizierte Englischlehrerin (CELTA) mit einer langjährigen Berufserfahrung im In-und Ausland. Als Absolventin eines Anglistik-und Amerikanistikstudiums wendet sie eine teilnehmer*inzentrierte interaktive Lehrmethode an. Sie verfügt über eine Hochschullehrbefähigung (PGCert in Higher Education) und fördert durch kommunikative Unterrichtsstrategien aktives Lernen in heterogenen Gruppen.
