Enjoy gentle guided walks to Berlin’s secret places and stimulating English conversation about birds appearance, habitat and habits.
The Tegeler Fließ is one of the most un-spoilt natural habitats in Berlin. For several kilometers the well-constructed wooden walkways, which ensure dry feet and the detailed information boards, maintained by NABU Berlin, are the only signs of civilization. As well as many species of birds, otters, gras-snakes, deer and water-buffaloes may be encountered. The charming village of Alt-Lübars is situated near a nature reserve and boasts a well-known restaurant, the Dorfkrug, which offers delicious lunches. Bus Nr. 222 goes to Tegel via S-Bahnhof Waidmannslust.

❔ The distance will be 9 kilometres, bring sturdy shoes, binoculars and rainwear, if required. Meeting point is U-Bahnhof Alt-Tegel (northeast exit: Berliner Straße, Ecke Bernstorffstraße).
