In this class, you will explore a diverse range of characters drawn from the many facets of your own personalities-characters with dynamic relationships and emotional depth, whether sympathetic or deeply flawed.
The instructor, an experienced director and actress, will share her favorite theater games and exercises designed exactly for this purpose.
In addition, you will write original monologues for the voices of your characters and collaboratively devise scenes where these characters interact.
To explore subtext on a deeper level, you will also be rehearsing scenes from established plays and films.You will receive personalized coaching to help the scenes come alive both physically and emotionally.
