Erstellen Sie Ihren eigenen experimentellen animierten Kurzfilm!
Zunächst lernen Sie die Arbeit einiger Künstler*innen und verschiedene kreative Ansätze kennen.
Sie lernen, wie Sie mit diesen Methoden eine eigenständige Bildsprache entwickeln können, und erlernen grundlegende Animationstechniken, die für die Produktion eines experimentellen Animationsfilms erforderlich sind:
- traditionelle Zeichenanimation
- Stop-Motion-Animation mit Objekten
- Kohleanimation.
Und dann ist es Zeit, mit dem Experimentieren zu beginnen!
Am Ende des Kurses werden Sie Ihre Animation bearbeiten und alle Sequenzen der Teilnehmer*innen dieses Kurses werden zu einer einzigen Animation zusammengefügt.

Vorkenntnisse: erste Zeichenkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, vor allem aber sollten Sie offen dafür sein, Neues auszuprobieren.

Englisch- und deutschsprachige Teilnehmer*innen sind willkommen.

Adobe CC Software wird empfohlen, ist aber kein Muss. Es kann auch die kostenfreie Software IMovie verwendet werden.

Create your own experimental short film!
First, you will explore the works of various artists and different creative
approaches, gaining insight into more abstract and experimental forms of
animation through drawing and stop-motion.
You will learn how to apply these methods to develop your own unique visual
language and become familiar with essential animation techniques required
for producing experimental animations, including traditional hand-drawn
animation, stop-motion animation with objects, and charcoal animation.

Then, it’s time to experiment!

At the end of the course, you will edit your animations and collaboratively
combine all sequences into a single animation.

Tiago Araujo (1991) ist freiberuflicher Animator, Illustrator und bildender Künstler aus Porto, Portugal mit einem B.A.-Abschluss in Bildender Kunst / Multimedia an der Fakultät für Bildende Kunst der Universität Porto. Sein Kurzfilm "Patrioska" wurde auf mehr als 60 Filmfestivals weltweit gezeigt, darunter das Animafest Zagreb und das Landshuter Kurzfilmfestival.

Tiago Araújo (1991) is a Portuguese illustrator, animation filmmaker and visual artist living in Berlin, Germany. For several years he worked in editorial illustration for several publications and also as an independent Comic-book author, having participated in various international collective exhibitions and anthologies. His first experimental animated film “Patrioska” was part of the official selection of more than 50 film festivals worldwide like Animafest Zagreb and many others. Now he continues to work in his own independent animated short films and teaches at the HTK Academy and University of Europe for Applied Sciences.
