The midday meal is an event which requires a lot of conversational skills between bites. There are certain societal rules of conduct in most English speaking cultures which expect people to keep things upbeat and positive and to avoid bringing the mood down, and not to complain without an acceptable level of humour. Small talk and friendly banter can be fun.
You will get the help you need with Grammar and finding the suitable words while we enjoy lunch together from wherever we are, with low background noise so we can hear you talk, and mute buttons, so we don’t have to hear you chew. We will also work on pronunciation and intonation, as well as cross-cultural understanding and how to avoid accidentally offending others.
